About Endayaan

Endayaan is a community-focused initiative of the Lac du Flambeau Business Development Corporation designed to help individuals and families achieve the goal of homeownership. Through collaboration and strategic partnerships, Endayaan works to remove many of the common barriers that prevent people from building or purchasing a home.

Our program connects future homeowners with trusted partners who provide support throughout the entire process. We work alongside the Wisconsin Native Loan Fund to assist with financing opportunities, Lac du Flambeau Land Management to help individuals obtain suitable land for their home, and Lac du Flambeau Community Health to coordinate access to utility infrastructure through Indian Health Services for well and septic systems. Endayaan is also partnering with Wisconsin Homes as our home builder to provide quality, affordable housing options designed to meet the needs of our community.

Together, these partnerships create a streamlined pathway that helps guide individuals from planning and financing to construction and ultimately becoming homeowners, strengthening families and building a stronger community for generations to come.

The Endayaan Homeownership Process

 

Step 1: Connect With Our Team
Reach out to the Endayaan team to begin the conversation about homeownership. We will walk you through the program and help get the process started.

Step 2: Start Your Financing
We will connect you with the Wisconsin Native Loan Fund to begin the financing process and determine your homebuying budget.

Step 3: Choose Your Home
Once financing is approved, you will work with Wisconsin Homes to select a home design that fits your needs and budget.

Step 4: Select and Approve Your Lot
After choosing your home, we will coordinate with Lac du Flambeau Land Management to help identify and approve a lot where your home will be built.

Step 5: Plan for Utilities
Next, we will work with the Lac du Flambeau Community Health Department to determine eligibility for well and septic services through Indian Health Services. If you are not eligible, we will help coordinate with a well and septic contractor.

Step 6: Build and Finalize Your Home
Once everything is in place, construction can begin. The Endayaan team will coordinate the final steps as the general contractor to ensure your home is completed and ready for move-in.
